Childcare at Schiefergut is for children from age 2 and is included in your stay. It deliberately takes place in the afternoon – when children still have energy and parents appreciate time for themselves.
Childcare hours: Summer: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM/Winter: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM
The childcare is varied and takes place across several areas at Schiefergut. Part of the time is spent indoors – with games, crafts, creative time, and quiet settling in. Another part leads outside to the farm and children’s barn, where animals are observed, fed, and time is spent outdoors.
Additionally, there are special activity spaces like the corn box and a supervised workshop for creating and trying things out. Everything is optional, nothing is required. Children are accompanied at their own pace.
The childcare is personal, manageable, and close to the everyday life of the farm. Parents know their children are in good hands and enjoy relaxed time for themselves in the meantime.
Enjoyment without a fixed schedule. Breakfast is included, everything else you decide fresh each day – à la carte or menu, exactly when it suits you.
Culinary Delights at SchiefergutWinter off the slopes. Cross-country skiing or winter hiking starts right outside the door – peaceful, close to nature, and without travel.
