Schiefergut opens in December 2026.
Inquiries for stays are already possible in advance. We would be happy to personally inform you about details, periods, and the current status.

On the day of arrival, your room or chalet will be ready from 3:00 PM.

If you arrive earlier, you can already use the grounds. A check-in/check-out room with lockers, shower, toilet, and washing machine is available for this purpose.

On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 AM.
This leaves enough time to prepare everything for the next families.

Schiefergut is especially geared towards young families with toddlers. Older children also feel at home here – thanks to the freedom, animals, and plenty of space to explore.

Childcare takes place in the afternoons and is included in your stay.
It is for children aged 2 and up and covers a total of 20 hours per week.

The care is intentionally varied and takes place in several locations:

• 2 hours in the hotel – with games, creative time, and a calm start
• 2 hours in the children’s stable – with animals, movement, and being outdoors

Part of the care includes:

• the corn room (cranking corn, experiencing, understanding)
• a supervised workshop for creating and experimenting

Everything is optional, nothing is mandatory.

Schiefergut is centrally located in Flachau and is easily accessible by car. Ample parking is available directly on the grounds for your arrival.

Additionally, there is an underground garage where you can park easily and protected from the weather.
