Our tips:
1. Marbachtal – Hike to the alpine pastures
Start at the Marbachtal parking lot in Flachauwinkl: An easy 3 km path leads along the picturesque Marbach stream through idyllic alpine territory. Along the way, the Prechtlhütte and Ennslehnhütte invite you to stop for a bite. Walking time approx. 1 hour — the path is also suitable for strollers.
2. Griesenkareck – Flachau’s local mountain
Take the Flachau cable cars comfortably into the Griesenkareck hiking area: From the Starjet 2 mountain station, the trail leads through flower-filled meadows to the summit. The final section is on rocky ground — sturdy footwear is recommended. Walking time to the summit approx. 45 minutes, easily manageable for families with children.
